It's over!

To the sound of Silverton's old school bell, on December 6th at 3.00 pm the third annual ‘Christmas by the Lake 2009' came to its end.

Again, it was a great success for our community!

" I just wanted to thank you and your group for all the work you put into making the fair such a wonderful event. It had a lovely spirit to it, and I enjoyed it all immensely. ...
... I have to say that this one was the best I've ever attended. It compares with the one in Banff!
"

J.B., Nakusp

" I was in for a surprise when I visited Silverton this weekend. I’ve travelled to the village before on a few occasions, but this one tops the rest. ..."

K. P., Nakusp

" It was a lovely event and I thank you all you have done to make it such a wonderful occasion for the community and beyond. Yes, there were tears from a number of children - when they had to leave!  "

 P.S., Silverton
