The Live Music Program brings musicians from the community, Nelson, and Nakusp towards Silverton. Beside well-known musicians there are also new groups on stage this year. And some of them will have their premiere on Christmas by the Lake.

Village Voices
A new talent group of women from Silverton and New Denver will sing Christmas carols. Among them will be "Holy Night" in German.

Heavy Shtetl
First time on Christmas by the Lake stage.
The band features lots of old world continental music with dashes of Yiddish, German, French, Russian and lots of instrumental Jewish Wedding music and traditional New Orleans jazz.

Calean Starblanket La Rocque
Also new at the event is instrumental acoustic guitarist Caelen Starblanket La Rocque. He is a skilled, full-time artist and musician and will perform his captivating music.

Slocan Valley Community Band
Already well-known the band will fill the stage and entertain the crowd with their fabulous performance.

Nelson Community Band
Last year was their first performance at Christmas by the Lake, and everybody loves it. This year again, the band will presents brass music directed by Nelson’s Clinton Swanson.

Slocan Arrow Community Ensemble
Also this year's event includes the premiere of Slocan Arrow Community Ensemble. A new group of 18 people playing string instruments.

Well-known local musicians which once more returning to Christmas by the Lake's stage.

Lucerne School Kids Chior
The legendary choir will perform on Sunday again. Always fun to see it and listen, and you will never forget.
